26 May Art Antiques London in Kensington Gardens
Once again Vanessa Clewes Salmon Modern & Contemporary Art is taking part in the beautiful Art Antiques London, in Kensington Gardens next to the Albert Memorial.
The Fair opens on Friday 24th June and runs until Thursday 30th.
We will be showing an eclectic mix of Modern British and Contemporary paintings and sculpture, such as a handsome unusually brightly coloured Standing Nude by Keith Vaughan; a very early jewel-like Bryan Pearce watercolour of a Basket of Anemones; a dramatic Rearing Summer Wave by Maggie Hambling, and a muted 1950s gouache by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham.
We will also be exhibiting some large contemporary South African abstracts and this year we have decided to branch out into sculpture with a theatrical, eye-catching Buddha Head made of seashells, star fish, semi-precious stones, jewellery and peacock feathers by the talented sculptress Shani Joel, winner of the Saatchi prize at just seventeen.
So do come and say hello to us on Stand E6, it would be lovely to see you.
